Stronghold: a fortified place

Learning about strongholds it is interesting to see how the prevailing thought on them is mostly negative stemming from Paul’s second letter to the Corinthians which is powerful in truth. Scripture, however, has more to say about positive strongholds than negative ones.

Stronghold definition (Merriam-Webster):
1: a fortified place
2: a place of security or survival

Psalm 9:9; 18:2; 37:39; 94:22; 144:2
Proverbs 10:29; 18:10; 21:22
Nahum 1:7

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalm 27:1)

Strongholds are built out of blocks of truth or lies, one block at a time.

By agreeing with the Truth strongholds of lies are torn down (Jeremiah 23:29)
By agreeing with the Truth strongholds of truth are built up (Proverbs 18:10)
